LGCOG is a multicultural church with people from diverse backgrounds. We are united, however, in our love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Located in Laurel, Maryland, our members mainly live in the surrounding suburbs of the Baltimore-Washington DC area.
A place to worship. Every Sunday at 4:00 p.m., we gather in a small building that we share with another church  to sing songs, pray, and listen to the word of God as delivered by one of our pastors. Our songs vary from old time hymns to contemporary Christian music. The atmosphere is relaxed and you will notice that many of us are dressed casually.

A place to fellowship. You don’t have to leave immediately after Sunday service. In fact, we encourage you to stay and fellowship with us. You will find that our church has one of the longest after-service fellowship times. Visit us one Sunday to experience it!
A place to grow. Our church believes that the Christian walk does not begin and end on a Sunday. This is why we also gather in prayer every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. We also share our burdens and ask others to pray for us. The locations are different every week, so please contact us if you are interested in coming. On Fridays at 7:30 p.m., we have Bible studies that may focus on a specific topic or book of the Bible. We find this as an opportunity to share and gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God. These meetings are held in church.
